ALBANY, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose defeated Bentley 2-0 tonight to notch its sixth shutout of the season, matching the program record for most clean sheets in one season.
Junior forward Hilmar Halldorsson struck first for Saint Rose with eight minutes elapsed in the opening half. For Halldorsson, the goal marked his seventh score in the last eight matches.
Sophomore back Victor Boje Henriksen increased the margin to 2-0 when he headed home a 55th-minute corner kick delivered by junior back Lucas Malmquist.
The Golden Knights (8-4-3/4-3-3 NE10) controlled the action throughout much of the 90 minutes and finished with a 24-9 advantage over Bentley (4-7-3/3-5-1 NE10) in the shot column.
Sophomore Thomas Rozman registered five saves help the Golden Knights match the program's single-season mark of six shutouts that was set in 2019 and 1990.
Up next, the Golden Knights welcome Saint Michael's to Sullivan Field for Senior Day on Tuesday at 4:00 pm, while Bentley plays host to Assumption at 11:00 am on Saturday.

Nick Koenig earning recognition on the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll for the period ending Sunday, October 16...Saint Rose stands fifth in the NE10 standings and will play its two final contests of the regular season at home...Halldorsson is second among the NE10 leaders with 11 goals…Nine different players have scored at least once…The 30 total goals scored by Saint Rose is the second-highest mark in the conference.
