WORCESTER, Mass. – The College of Saint Rose earned a straight-set victory at Assumption tonight, with the Saint Rose totaling 37 kills on a .360 average to claim its sixth victory in the last seven matches.

Julia Cavalcanti recorded a match-high nine kills, while sophomore middle blocker
Karleigh Fripp and freshman middle blocker
Teresa Moulder tallied seven kills apiece.
"Tonight was a quality conference win on the road for us. We played as one and were able to secure the win quickly and efficiently," said Head Coach
Vanessa Volpe-Rivera.
Saint Rose (12-11/4-4 NE10) landed at least eleven kills in each of the three frames while limiting the Greyhounds to a .105 swing percentage.
The Golden Knight defense was active again with 16 total blocks. Fripp finished with six block assists, while Cavalcanti and junior setter
Valeria Jorge added five blocks each. Jorge registered 32 assists as well.
Sophomore outside hitter Anna Dean led Assumption (1-12/1-8 NE10)Â with seven kills.
Looking ahead, Saint Rose welcomes Daemen to Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium for a 6:00 pm non-conference meeting on Friday. Assumption faces Le Moyne in Syracuse on Sunday at 1:00 pm.
