#3 SAINT ROSE POSTS THIRD CLEAN SHEET TO RUN SEASON-LONG UNBEATEN STREAK TO FOUR MATCHES

RUTHERFORD, N.J. -The College of Saint Rose once again used a dominating balanced attack to register its third clean sheet of the season with tonight's 3-0 victory at Felician University. In the process, the #3 ranked Golden Knights ran their season-long unbeaten streak to four matches.
 
Five different players figured in the Saint Rose scoring, while its stout defensive unit limited the Golden Falcons (1-3) to a mere one shot-on-goal.
 
Freshman back Sidney Brucato and freshman forward Lexi Grassia both scored their first collegiate goals with the former also picking up an assist. Junior midfielder Janina Mueller provided the game-winner with 38:28 elapsed when she converted a penalty kick.
 
The pressure of the Saint Rose attack paid off when junior forward Kaelyn Britt and senior midfielder Ciera Lundy set up Brucato who made it 2-0 at the 50:22 mark after she drove home a shot from 25-yards out. Brucato then delivered a corner that Grassia headed into the back of the net with 83:53 expired.
 
The Golden Knights dictated the pace of play throughout the evening that led to a 32-2 shot advantage and a 7-1 corner kick differential. Eleven of their strikes were on target.
 
Looking ahead, Saint Rose travels to Pace University for its Northeast-10 Conference opener Tuesday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm. Meanwhile, Felician visits Nyack College for a 1:30 pm match Wednesday in Secaucus, N.J.
Notes: Tonight marked the 375th career win for head coach Laurie Darling Gutheil…She stood third in wins among active NCAA Division II coaches entering 2020…Thirteen players have already figured in the scoring column for the Golden Knights this season…Nine different players have accounted for their 13 goals…Saint Rose has outscored its four opponents 13-2 and has engineered 29 corners, while yielding only 14.
