ALBANY, N.Y. – Visiting Southern Connecticut State scored four goals across the final 9:51 to edge The College of Saint Rose 10-9 tonight at the Plumeri Sports Complex. The Golden Knights began the second half on a 6-1 run to erase a halftime deficit and take a 9-6 lead. However, junior midfielder Mia Pulisciano converted a feed from Jettke Gray with 1:13 remaining to complete the SCSU comeback. Junior midfielder Molly Kelly secured the ensuing draw control, allowing the Owls to run off much of the remaining 73 seconds. Saint Rose came up with a loose ball, but was unable to even complete its frantic clearing attempt successfully before the clock expired.
