ALBANY, N.Y. – The College of Saint Rose controlled possession for two-thirds of the match and meticulously created dangerous chances on the offensive side to upend visiting Clarkson University 3-1 today.

Clarkson briefly made it interesting with 82:09 gone by when freshman midfielder Vander Hart one-touched home a thru ball off the right flank from fellow freshman midfielder Zachary Appel. However, Saint Rose countered just over a minute later when junior midfielder

Erick Radtke, turned his defender at the 12-yard PK line and buried his ensuing shot home.
The Golden Knights (4-1) manufactured a 27-5 shot advantage, a 10-1 corner kick differential, and eight players generated at least one shot throughout the beautiful spring afternoon. Junior keeper
Ryan Henning recorded a pair of saves, including one in the 63rd minute where he dove to his left to deny Clarkson senior midfielder Mack Walton who rifled a dangerous shot from 12-yards out.
Looking ahead, Saint Rose is scheduled to travel to Purchase, N.Y. Thursday for a 1:30 pm match at Manhattanville College.
