COLONIE, N.Y. – The College of Saint Rose extended its shutout streak to three matches behind today's 2-0 triumph versus Bryant and Stratton on the grounds of Afrim's Sports Complex. The Golden Knights (3-1) have not allowed a goal since their season-opening 4-0 setback at Division I UAlbany.

Senior back
Andrew Lule knocked home a feed from sophomore forward
Hilmar Halldorsson with less than a minute to go until halftime for what amounted to the game-winner. Sophomore back

"This spring has been a unique opportunity for our young team to have to problem solve differently from match to match. Today a very determined Bryant & Stratton side did a good job of making it difficult for us to break them down. I thought overall our possession and patience was good, but on the day we could have been sharper and a little more clinical in the final third. I was very happy that we got everyone into the match and hope the experience serves us well as we continue to develop," said head coach
John Ciano."
Â
For the Bobcats (0-1), Nate German turn aside eight shots at frame.

Looking ahead, Saint Rose has a scrimmage at Molloy College on Long Island this Saturday and then returns home to host Mercy College next Wednesday, April 7 at 5:00 pm.
