ALBANY, N.Y. – The College of Saint Rose scored 12 first half goals on the way to today's 17-0 victory at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

The offensive output represents a single-game school record. The previous scoring mark for the Golden Knights came when they struck seven times in a 7-3 win versus SUNY Purchase on September 3, 1981.

The NCAA record is 21 when that the District of Columbia scored against Lincoln (PA) in 2001.

The Golden Knights (1-1) set the tone early by scoring five times in the opening 15 minutes.

Hilmar Halldorsson paced the Saint Rose attack with four and three goals respectively. Ten different players found the back of the net at least once.

Looking ahead, the Golden Knights are scheduled to play their first home game in more than a year Saturday when American International visits Sullivan Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex. Meanwhile, the Panthers are tentatively set to host Davis College/Word of Life on Wednesday, April 7.
Note on In-Person Attendance at Games: All games are subject to change based upon COVID-19 surveillance testing for both The College of Saint Rose and its opponents. In addition, per New York State Department of Health guidelines and the Northeast-10 Conference,
no spectators at this point will be permitted to attend games scheduled for the Plumeri Sports Complex. The College will continue to monitor this situation with the hope of potentially allowing fans in some capacity at a later date.
