GOLDEN KNIGHTS FALL 52-41 AT AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The College of Saint Rose was upended 52-41 at American International this evening. Senior forward Nina Fedullo topped the Golden Knights with 15 points in the road setback.

Down much of the opening half, Saint Rose used a 10-0 run to take a 31-30 advantage with 3:35 left in the third quarter. The Golden Knights stayed in it from there, until the hosts went on a 12-0 fourth quarter jaunt to take control of the contest.

"We were our most productive in third quarter, putting it together on both ends," said Head Coach Whitney Edwards. "We'll keep working to improve daily while we have this opportunity."

Sophomore guard Kayla Robinson led American International, which is receiving votes in the D2SIDA national poll, with 15 points. Senior guard Destine Perry contributed 13 points, seven rebounds, six assists and three steals for the Yellow Jackets (5-1).

Looking ahead, Saint Rose (0-4) is scheduled to host #23/12 Gannon on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Fans can watch all the action live on www.gogoldenknights.tv on the NE10NOW Network.
