SMITH LEADS SAINT ROSE IN 68-64 SETBACK TO GOLDEY-BEACOM

PHILADELPHIA, PA- The College of Saint Rose fell to Goldey-Beacom 68-64 tonight in a non-conference match-up.
  
Sophomore guard Ashia Smith had 15 points and seven rebounds and freshman forward Lateisha Willis added 10 points for the Golden Knights (0-2). Junior guard Becca Townes totaled nine points and five assists while fifth year forward Nina Fedullo and sophomore guard Isabel Sanchez each added nine points for the Saint Rose on the offensive end.

Sophomore guard Briana Seltzer and junior forward Alexis Harrison each finished with 15 points to lead Goldey-Beacom. Junior guard Sara Round tallied 11 points and sophomore guard Mickey Williams recorded 10 points for the Lightning (2-0) in the victory,
 
Moving forward, Saint Rose begins conference play with a 1:30 pm match-up next Saturday on the road at Adelphi.
