GOLDEN KNIGHTS FOUR MATCH WIN STREAK HALTED AT BENTLEY

WALTHAM, Mass. - The College of Saint Rose had its four-match win streak snapped with tonight's 2-1 Northeast-10 Conference setback at Bentley.

The Falcons (4-9-0/2-7-0 NE10) scored twice in the first half and then held off the Golden Knights throughout the final 45 minutes. Saint Rose (6-5-2/5-3-1 NE10) outshot Bentley 15-6 and generated a 4-0 corner kick differential during the second half, but could not overcome its deficit.

Freshman back Victor Boje Henriksen scored his team-leading sixth goal of the year off an assist from freshman midfielder Simon Schouby with 68:51 elapsed for what proved to be the lone Golden Knights goal.

Freshman forward Johann Fraser accounted for both Falcons strikes. He made it a 1-0 game with only 10:11 gone by and struck with the eventual game-winner 25 minutes later.

Between the posts, freshman keeper Tomas Rozman made a pair of saves in each half for Saint Rose. Senior Markus Foehr was forced to turn aside five shots for Bentley.

Looking ahead, both sides have road conference dates Wednesday. The Golden Knights head to Colchester, Vt. to take on Saint Michael's at 2:45 pm, while the Falcons travel to New Haven to face Southern Connecticut State at 7:00 pm.
Notes: The Golden Knights have a young squad with 25 underclassmen listed on their roster…Rozman and sophomore back Nick Koenig were named to the NE10 weekly honor roll Monday…Rozman leads all NE10 goalkeepers with an .857 save percentage and stands second behind a 0.67 goals-against-average…Tonight marked the first time Saint Rose allowed two goals in regulation since a 2-0 defeat to top-ranked Franklin Pierce on September 25.
