LOOKING BACK: GOLDEN KNIGHTS SWEEP SAINT MICHAEL'S ON SENIOR DAY

ALBANY, N.Y. - The College of Saint Rose held visiting Saint Michael's to .086 hitting in today's 3-0 (25-17, 25-9, 25-16) Northeast-10 Conference victory.

Senior outside hitter Stevie Schweitzer, one of three Saint Rose players recognized on Senior Day, led the Golden Knights (11-16/4-8 NE10) with ten kills on .333 hitting and nine digs. Schweitzer, fourth on the program's career kills list, served up four of the team's 15 aces on the day. Freshman outside hitter Ele'sia Williams added seven kills on .353 hitting, while junior middle hitter Kyla Archie, who tops the NE10 in blocking, totaled five kills and four blocks. Senior libero Tina Ceriello, the NE10 leader in digs and digs per set, topped all participants with 15 digs in the sweep.

"Our seniors have had great careers in our program," said Saint Rose Head Coach Vanessa Volpe-Rivera. "It's always a great feeling when you can walk away with a win and celebrate with your team and families. Our aggressive serving set the foundation for our strong defense today. I am very pleased with how the team played together to earn the win."

Sophomore middle hitter Grace Fornabia led Saint Michael's (1-18/0-11 NE10) with nine kills, while senior libero Tanner Barton registered 12 digs.
