"Both teams showed grit and resilience. Pace is a great squad and both sides played with a lot of desire. I thought our defense played extremely well," said head coach
Laurie Darling Gutheil. "Nina is an extremely talented and dynamic player, and is dangerous any time she steps over the ball."
Â
The Golden Knights (5-0-1/2-0-1 NE10), ranked #12 for the second consecutive week in the United Soccer Coaches National Poll, outshot the 24th ranked Setters (7-1-0/3-1-0 NE10) 16-10 while maintaining possession for 54 percent of the contest.
