WALTHAM, Mass. – The College of Saint Rose scored twice in each half to remain unbeaten with today's 4-1 win at Northeast-10 Conference rival Bentley.
Â
Senior forward
Nina Predanic and freshman striker
Olivia Boucher both recorded a pair of goals and an assist, and senior keeper
Marika Laurendeau registered five saves to propel the Golden Knights (6-0-1/3-0-1 NE10). Freshman midfielder
Sanna Rein also set up the first two goals.
Â
Boucher struck with 7:01 gone by when she knocked home a rebound off a Rein shot that rattled the post. Predanic then found the top far corner 11 minutes later for what proved to be the game winner.
Â
Boucher set up Predanic in the opening two minutes of the second stanza. Predanic then returned the honor midway through the second half to close out the scoring after sophomore midfielder Dana Goulet put the Falcons (2-4-1/1-3-0 NE10) on the board.
Â
Laurendeau recorded five saves for Saint Rose, while Bentley sophomore Kat Hassapis came up with three stops at the other end.
Â
Going forward, both sides have NE10 matches Wednesday. The Golden Knights host Franklin Pierce at 6:00 pm, while the Falcons head to Manchester to take on Southern New Hampshire at 4:00 pm.
