GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – The College of Saint Rose had its three-game win streak snapped as the Golden Knights dropped a pair at red-hot Northeast-10 Conference Southwest Division rival Adelphi, which entered the weekend ranked #19 in the most recent D2CCA National Poll.
The Panthers bounced back from a 4-0 deficit in the finale by pushing across seven runs in the sixth after breaking open a 4-4 first game by plating five runs in the fourth.

In the process, Adelphi (26-5/14-1 NE10) ran its win streak to 12 games and improved to 12-0 at home.

Senior designated hitter
Kenny Fils-Aime and senior first baseman
Nicolas Teitter both homered for the Golden Knights in the first game. The latter then went 4-for-4 with a triple, while junior second baseman
Andrew Pedone belted a two-run single in the second inning of the nightcap.

Teitter wound up 6-for-9, while Fils-Aime finished 3-for-9 with a run scored throughout the afternoon.

Looking ahead, the two sides are scheduled to conclude their three-game series tomorrow at 1:00 pm.
