SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Host Le Moyne pushed across three runs in the fourth upend The College of Saint Rose 4-3 in a Northeast-10 Conference Southwest Division clash this afternoon. In the process, the Dolphins (14-17/5-6 NE10) avenged an 8-1 setback in Albany two weeks ago and have now five of their last six.

Junior shortstop
Andrew Pedone finished 2-for-3 and scored a pair of runs, while senior first baseman
Nicolas Teitter went 2-for-4 with a double to pace the Golden Knights (7-15/3-7 NE10) in the latest edition of the
Upstate Challenge.

Senior designated hitter
Kenny Fils-Aime singled home junior second baseman
Patrick LaDouce and Pedone came across on a fielder's choice to afford Saint Rose a 2-0 lead in the third. Le Moyne cut the deficit in half in the bottom of the frame and plated the eventual game-winner an inning later. Saint Rose added another in the fifth on a sacrifice fly off the bat of junior catcher
Jon Montesanti.

Senior left fielder David DiNorcia finished 2-for-4 with an RBI to pace the Dolphins.

Looking ahead, both squads have three-game NE10 Divisional home series this weekend. The Golden Knights host Pace University, while the Dolphins travel to New Haven.
