The Golden Knights manufactured runs in the third and fourth in support of the righty. Freshman catcher
Katie Drogo led off the third with double and eventually came around to score on a groundout by senior infielder
Briana Bowen. Saint Rose put across an unearned insurance run in the fourth.
New Haven (14-8/8-2 NE10) was a walk-off winner in the second game.
Senior outfielder
Astasia Myler doubled home sophomore outfielder
Alissa Folts, who started the third with a single, for the lone Saint Rose marker.
Bowen finished 3-for-4 in the nightcap for the Golden Knights.
The two squads were prepared to finish their three-game NE10 series tomorrow. However, the contest has been postponed due to heavy rain the forecast. A make-up date will be announced.
