WEST HAVEN, Conn. – Host New Haven committed just four turnovers and used an 8-0 run midway through the first half to upend The College of Saint Rose 73-54 in Northeast-10 Conference action this afternoon.

Sophomore guard
Adam Anderson led four Golden Knights in double-figures with 17 points. Freshman forward
Sekou Sylla finished with 13, while senior forward
Matt Cerutti and freshman guard
Tyler Washington added 10 apiece. Anderson also tied his career-high with seven rebounds for the Golden Knights, who had nine players see at least 10 minutes of playing time, including five underclassmen.

Meanwhile, junior guard Elijah Bailey tossed in 15 points, while sophomore guard Derrick Rowland and junior forward Roy Kane, Jr. wound up with 14 apiece to propel the Chargers (17-7/12-6 NE10) who improved to 10-2 at home.

The Golden Knights were within striking distance after Cerutti knocked down a jumper in the paint that made it a 25-17 affair with 7:30 to go until the break. However, New Haven responded with eight unanswered points and subsequently led by double-digits the rest of the way.
