SAINT ROSE DEFEATED BY A STRONG BENTLEY CONTINGENT

TROY, N.Y.– The College of Saint Rose dropped Sunday's dual meet to a strong Bentley contingent 151-66.  The Golden Knights were unable to end the Bentley men's dual meet winning streak, which now stands at 35 straight.

Senior Roko Jelavic had a solid performance for the Golden Knights. Jelavic took first place in the 200-yard breaststroke, posting a time of 2:12.93. Jelavic also swam on the second place 400 medley relay team that featured freshman Anthonie Brito, sophomore Eric Romero Gomez, and senior Charles Nicholas, which hit the wall in 3:36.98.

Senior Aleksandar Stosik took second in the 50 freestyle behind a 22.31 performance. Senior Andres Martinez also earned points on the day for the Golden Knights with a third place finish in 200 butterfly.

Next Sunday, Saint Rose will be back at Robison Pool to face host RPI and SUNY Oneonta.
