NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The College of Saint Rose further accelerated its momentum with the postseason in sight behind today's 2-1 victory at Northeast-10 Conference rival Southern Connecticut State. In the process, the Golden Knights 13-2-1/9-2-1 NE10) handed the Owls only their second home loss of the season.

Senior forward
Nina Predanic continued her run through the record book. She moved into second place on the College's all-time scoring list with a goal and an assist that elevated her to 120 career points. Only former National Player of the Year Carmelina Puopolo (2010-14) produced more with 199.

Olivia Boucher also scored, while junior keeper
Marika Laurendeau recorded a pair of saves in each half.

Boucher headed home a Predanic cross with 30:34 gone by and Predanic provided her seventh game-winner of the year by converting a penalty kick at the 54:37 mark. Southern Connecticut State (8-6-3/5-4-3 NE10) got on the board courtesy of an own goal at the 79:35 mark.

Looking ahead, both sides are scheduled to close out their regular-season dockets with conference matches Tuesday. The Golden Knights host New Haven at 6:00 pm, while the Owls travel to North Easton, Mass. to face Stonehill at 1:30 pm.Â
