ALBANY, N.Y. - Bloomfield shot 47.1 percent (8-for-17) from the arc and put five players in double-figures scoring to upend The College of Saint Rose 75-63 throughout this afternoon's second day of the Saint Rose Tip-Off Tournament inside the Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium.

Sophomore forward
Sekou Sylla recorded his second "double-double" in as many days to lead the Golden Knights (1-1). Sylla finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while sophomore guard
Tyler Washington tossed in 14 throughout 28 minutes off the bench.

The Bears (2-0) put themselves in the driver's seat by scoring 12 unanswered points within a two-minute span midway through the second half that transformed a 55-54 Saint Rose lead into a 66-55 deficit with 8:19 to play. It remained a double-digit ballgame from that point forward.

Freshman guard Sol Leshem led Bloomfield with 16 points, while senior forward Matt Lajeunesse wound up with 11 points and 14 boards.

In today's first game, Le Moyne upended Chestnut Hill 123-70.

Saint Rose returns to action next weekend at the Dominican Tournament in Orangeburg. The Golden Knights meet Caldwell Saturday and the host Chargers Sunday.
