RINDGE, N.H. - The College of Saint Rose senior outside hitter
Stevie Schweitzer topped all players with 15 kills in tonight's 3-0 (25-17, 25-20, 25-17) Northeast-10 Conference setback at Franklin Pierce. The showing moved her into fourth place on the program's career kills chart with 994.

Franklin Pierce (9-10/3-5 NE10) had two players with double-digit kill totals. Freshman right side Mariah Robles recorded 15 kills on .281 hitting and senior middle hitter Abigail Garnhart finished 11 rallies. Junior setter Mary Pease ran the Raven offense to the tune of 39 assists, while junior libero Ellie Ivanova registered 26 digs.
After hitting .400 to take the opening set, the hosts flew out to a 10-2 advantage in the second stanza. Saint Rose (10-14/3-6 NE10) fought back, using a 6-0 run to trim its deficit to one at 18-17. Though able to get the margin to one on two more occasions, the Golden Knights were unable to complete the comeback. Franklin Pierce started the third set on an 11-4 jaunt to complete its fifth sweep of the fall.

Looking ahead, Saint Rose plays at Southern New Hampshire tomorrow afternoon. Fans unable to make it to Manchester, N.H. for the 2:00 pm start can watch the action on the
NE10 NOW Network. Meanwhile, Franklin Pierce hosts Le Moyne tomorrow at 1:00 pm.
