#7 GOLDEN KNIGHTS KEEP ROLLING

COLCHESTER, Vt. – The College of Saint Rose, ranked #7 in this week's United Soccer Coaches National Poll, remained the lone unbeaten Northeast-10 Conference team after upending host Saint Michael's 5-0 this afternoon.

The Golden Knights (9-0-1/6-0-1 NE10) manufactured a 23-9 shot advantage, including a 13-1 differential in threats on target, and scored three times within a 20-minute span late in the second stanza to break open a 2-0 game at halftime.

Senior forward Nina Predanic, the reigning NE10 Player of the Week, scored twice to extend her team-leading total to 11 on the year. Senior back Deanna Trongone, and senior midfielders Caitlyn Dabagian and Sanja Ratkovic also found the back of the net.

Predanic dribbled in from the midfield area and drove her shot off the Purple Knights (3-6-1/0-6-1 NE10) keeper with 25:55 gone by for what proved to be the game-winner. Trongone found the top left corner eight minutes later to make it 2-0. Predanic then finished a free kick at the 69:06 mark and Dabagian gained space from the right side of the area and finished with 69:06 elpased. Ratkovic knocked home a rebound off a shot from sophomore midfielder Sophia Jean-Charles with 86:30 expired to close it out.

Looking ahead, both sides have NE10 meetings Saturday. The Golden Knights host Assumption at 2:00 pm for Faculty and Parents Appreciation Day, while the Purple Knights head to Long Island to face Adelphi at noon.
