LAKEWOOD, N.J. – A trio of The College of Saint Rose players registered six kills in this afternoon's 3-0 setback at Georgian Court. The Golden Knights (8-9) fell by scores of 25-13, 25-22 and 26-24.
Junior middle hitter
Kyla Archie, who leads the Northeast-10 Conference in blocking, topped Saint Rose with six kills and six total blocks. Senior outside hitter
Stevie Schweitzer, the reigning NE10 Player of the Week, and freshman outside hitter
Ele'sia Williams also finished a half dozen rallies apiece. Senior libero
Tina Ceriello, atop the NE10 in digs per set, totaled 14 digs, while freshman setter
Valeria Jorge dished out 17 assists.

Georgian Court (13-4), who hit .336 as a team, had three players with double-digits in kills. Sophomore outside hitter Kinsy Haschke led the way with 20 kills on .633 hitting. Senior right side Shana Rayside added 11, while senior right side Amy Bruno tallied 10 kills on .625 hitting.
Junior setters Ashley Pierson and Jaime Sweeney combined for 42 assists, and senior defensive specialist Emily McCurley accumulated 15 digs.

Looking ahead, Saint Rose hosts American International on Tuesday at 7:00 pm. Fans unable to make it to Albany for the Northeast-10 Conference match can watch the action on the
NE10NOW Network. Georgian Court has a quick turnaround, traveling to Pace University tomorrow at noon.
Notes: Saint Rose, picked ninth in the NE10 preseason coaches' poll, is coming off its first postseason appearance since 2015…Ceriello began the day as the league leader in total digs (311) and digs per set (5.65)…Schweitzer was named the NE10 Player of the Week on Tuesday…She recorded 3.62 kills per set and 4.75 digs per set in the 1-1 week…Archie averaged an NE10-best 1.09 blocks per set coming into the contest.
