#10 SAINT ROSE SHOOTS PAST DAEMEN ON SENIOR DAY

ALBANY, N.Y. – The College of Saint Rose celebrated its Senior Day this afternoon with a convincing 3-1 non-league victory against visiting Daemen. The Golden Knights (10-1-1) manufactured a 26-6 shot advantage and a 12-1 corner kick differential to record their 20th consecutive 10-win campaign.

Senior midfielder Morgan Burchhardt and senior forward Nina Predanic each had a goal and an assist to continue their march through the school's record book. Freshman forward Olivia Boucher also scored, while sophomore midfielder Theresa Durle picked up an assist.

Burchhardt notched her 100th career point to put herself in the company of seven other players, including Predanic who is fourth all-time with 110 for her career.

Burchhardt showed off her finishing touch by one-timing a Predanic cross off the right end line from the middle of the area to make it 1-0 Saint Rose at the 7:16 mark. The Wildcats (8-3-2) squared it after senior forward Jamie Boyar, the country's third leading goal scorer, delivered her 13th strike of the year after finishing a through pass from senior midfielder Lindsay Ciaramella with 15:01 expired.

The Golden Knights settled in and kept making forays into the offensive third. The effort paid off as Predanic laced a direct kick from outside the area into the top corner for her national leading sixth game-winner of the year.

Burchhardt and Durle then made a pair of quick touches on the right flank that sprang Boucher into the area with space. She delivered by slipping her shot inside the low far-left post to close out the scoring with 61:07 expired.

Looking ahead, the Golden Knights are back home Tuesday to face Upstate Challenge and NE10 rival Le Moyne at 6:00 pm. Meanwhile, the Wildcats are off until next Saturday when they host East Coast Conference foe Roberts Wesleyan at 11:00 am.
Notes: The Golden Knights are ranked #10 in this week's United Soccer Coaches National Poll…They are also the top ranked side in the East Region for the fifth consecutive week…Junior keeper Marika Laurendeau, who had a save in each half today, paces the NE10 with a .857 save percentage and a 0.66 goals against-average…Predanic paces the NE10 with 30 points and is tied for the lead with 12 goals…In addition, she is only the sixth player in program annals to register 40 career goals…The Golden Knights have outscored their foes 34-8, including 19-2 in the first half.
