With the Panthers at match point, sophomore outside hitter Hope Wulliger blocked an Adelphi attack to make it 24-23. Following an Adelphi error, freshman setter Macey Drezek served up an ace to tie it. Shortly thereafter, kills from sophomore outside hitter Brenna Goebel and Schweitzer extended the match to the deciding fifth set. Adelphi proceeded to hit .429 in the "Race to 15" to take the match.
