NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. - The College of Saint Rose women's volleyball team hit .316 in this afternoon's sweep at Merrimack. The Golden Knights (9-6) took the non-conference match by scores of 25-14, 25-9 and 25-19.
Junior outside hitter
Stevie Schweitzer led all players with 13 kills on .375 hitting. Senior middle hitter
Shayna Webber added 10 kills on .350 hitting and three total blocks, while sophomore middle hitter
Kyla Archie finished seven rallies and blocked six Merrimack attacks.Â

Saint Rose (9-6) received 32 assists and three service aces from senior setter

Tina Ceriello accumulated 13 digs, while junior defensive specialist
Madison Gerace had a season-high nine.
After winning the opening set on the strength of a 10-1 closing run, Saint Rose hit .471 while holding the Warriors to -.320 hitting in the second set. The Golden Knights scored the final five points of the third set to complete their seventh sweep of the fall.
Saint Rose held Merrimack to -.022 hitting on the day and made just six combined serve and serve receive miscues.
The Warriors (3-11) were led by senior outside hitter Katelynn Marr, who had eight kills. Junior setter Sydney Buran dished out 18 assists in defeat.

Looking ahead, both teams have home Northeast-10 Conference matches on Tuesday night at 7:00 pm. The Golden Knights will host Le Moyne in the Upstate Challenge, while Merrimack receives a visit from New Haven, the current league leaders.
