ALBANY, N.Y.-The College of Saint Rose celebrated Senior Day in style today by chalking up a 2-1 overtime victory against visiting Northeast-10 Conference rival Merrimack. The Golden Knights (5-2-1/3-2-0 NE) struck with 3:25 expired in the extra session to run its win streak to three matches.

Nina Predanic put Saint Rose up 1-0 in the 11th minute when she dribbled up the left flank and rolled a shot from 15-yards out inside the left post for her league leading seventh strike of the autumn.
It appeared that match would end that way, but the Warriors (3-2-1/1-2-1 NE10) forced overtime when sophomore forward Izzy McDonnell one-touched home a delivery off the foot of senior midfielder Erika Scott with a mere 2:10 remaining in regulation.
The contest had its share of pivotal moments throughout the afternoon. Predanic lined a shot off the right post in the 36th minute, while junior keeper
Marika Laurendeau got off her feet to redirect a shot from freshman forward Erin Tyldesley over the crossbar in the 75th. Meanwhile, senior back Emily Maier and senior midfielder Amber Gustafson rattled the crossbar in the 69th and 80th minutes respectively for Merrimack.
Laurendeau made all four her saves after halftime, while junior Erin Fulton finished with six saves at the other end.

Looking ahead, both sides have NE10 matches Wednesday. Saint Rose heads to Syracuse to take on Upstate Challenge rival Le Moyne at 4:00 pm, while Merrimack hosts American International for a 7:00 pm meeting.
