GOLDEN KNIGHTS WIN FOURTH STRAIGHT

SYRACUSE, N.Y.-Three different players found the back of the net to help lead The College of Saint Rose to its fourth straight win with today's 3-0 Northeast-10 Conference victory at Upstate Challenge rival Le Moyne.

Junior forward Nina Predanic scored her NE10 leading eighth strike of the year and set up senior forward Morgan Burchhardt with what stood up as the game-winner. Junior forward Caitlyn Dabagian also scored for the Golden Knights (6-2-1/4-2-0 NE10). Junior keeper Marika Laurendeau recorded a pair of stops to register her fourth shutout this autumn, while senior Anastasija Cumika came up with three stops for the Dolphins (3-5-0/1-4 NE10).

Burchhardt deposited a shot off a Predanic feed from the Le Moyne doorstep with 20:39 gone by and the latter finished inside the lower left post 13 minutes later to afford Saint Rose a 2-0 halftime lead. Dabagian then knocked home a rebound after Cumika punched away a direct kick at the 64:27 mark.

Overall, the Golden Knights engineered a 13-7 shot differential and manufactured eight corner kicks, while yielding three.

Looking ahead, both sides have conference road matches Saturday. Saint Rose travels to Connecticut to take on New Haven at 7:00 pm, while the Dolphins head to Long Island for a noon meeting at Adelphi.
