SAINT ROSE PLAYS TO 2-2 DRAW AT BENTLEY

WALTHAM, Mass.-The College of Saint Rose played to a 2-2 draw at Northeast-10 Conference rival Bentley today to remain unbeaten on the year. Both teams scored once in each half of regulation, but the Golden Knights (6-0-1/3-0-1 NE10) forced extra time with the tying goal in the final four minutes.

"We knew today was going to be a tough game on the road against a very dangerous and determined Bentley team. I didn't feel that we played our best, but I was very proud of the effort and heart the team showed. We look forward to getting back to practice so that we can improve for our game on Tuesday," said head coach John Ciano".

Senior midfielder Paulo Sdoia tied it 2-2 when he headed home a free kick with 4:40 remaining. Freshman midfielder Filippo Bellú put Saint Rose up 1-0 with 20:37 gone by when he drove home a shot from 12-yards out for his team-leading sixth strike of the season.

Sophomore midfielder Connor Mote registered both goals for the Falcons (3-2-2/1-2-1 NE10) midway through each half, while senior keeper David Price recorded three saves as did junior Gianni Carillo at the other end.
