ALBANY, N.Y. - Sophomore middle hitter
Kyla Archie recorded a career-high 15 kills on .667 hitting as The College of Saint Rose swept Dominican tonight. The Golden Knights (8-5) won the non-conference match by scores of 25-20, 25-12, 26-24.

Senior middle hitter
Shayna Webber added 10 kills on .400 hitting. The duo of Archie and Webber combined for 5.5 total blocks in the victory.

"We have been working hard on our offensive strategies and cohesiveness in practice and it showed tonight," said Saint Rose Head Coach
Vanessa Volpe-Rivera. "We were able to stay in our system and moved the ball around to allow our middles to be successful. We're feeling good as we start Northeast-10 Conference play on Thursday."

The Golden Knights, which hit .452 in the opening set, .478 in the second and .337 overall, received 31 assists from senior setter
Sam Kubik. Junior libero
Tina Ceriello, the reigning NE10 Libero of the Week, accumulated 19 digs.

Junior outside hitter Denna Knopf led Dominican (1-11) with seven kills. Freshman outside hitter Emmalyn LaPier tossed in six kills and nine digs, while freshman setter Lily Ainsworth dished out 16 assists.

Both teams are in action later this week. Saint Rose opens NE10 play at New Haven on Thursday at 7:00 pm. The Chargers will host Concordia on Wednesday night.
Notes: The Golden Knights honored members of the Saint Rose Best Buddies program at tonight's match. Loyal supporters from within the program joined the team on the court for the starting lineup, national anthem and partook in the pre-game sportsmanship handshake.
