ALBANY-The College of Saint Rose continued its best start in program history (1981) and remained unbeaten with this evening's 2-0 victory against visiting Northeast-10 Conference rival Saint Anselm.
Â
The Golden Knights (5-0/2-0) struck twice within a six-minute span midway through the second half to secure the victory.
Â
"This was a good win for us tonight against an organized and determined Saint Anselm team. It took us a while to finally break through, but I am very proud of our patience and maturity. We are excited to get back to practice and prepare for our next match on Wednesday," said head coach
John Ciano.
