WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The College of Saint Rose dropped today's series finale 5-3 at
Northeast-10 Conference rival New Haven, which allowed the host Chargers (32-6/14-6 NE10) to complete the weekend sweep.

Senior right-hander
Alex Tomlinson allowed just one earned on four hits throughout 5.2 innings of relief, while senior third baseman
Joe Foran finished 1-for-2 and reached base three times with a pair of walks for the Golden Knights (15-20/8-12 NE10).

Saint Rose fell behind 3-0 in the first, but tied it with two runs in the fifth and another in the sixth before New Haven pushed across the winning run in its half of the sixth and an insurance tally in the seventh.

Third baseman Jack Zagaja finished 2-for-4 with three RBI to lead the Chargers, who extended their win streak to eight games.

Looking ahead, both squads have road conference games Tuesday. The Golden Knights head to Syracuse to take on Upstate Challenge rival Le Moyne at 3:00 pm, while the Chargers travel to New Haven for a 3:30 pm meeting.
