WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The College of Saint Rose rallied from a 7-3, fourth inning deficit only to suffer a 9-8, 12 inning defeat in the finale of today's
Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader at New Haven. The host Chargers also took the opener 6-3.

Senior catcher
Tom Moore doubled down the left field line to bring across junior right fielder
Alexander Koshgarian to make it 8-7 Golden Knights (15-19/8-11 NE10) in the 10th. However, the Chargers (31-6/13-6 NE10) tied it in the home half before completing the sweep in the 12th.

Koshgarian wound up 4-for-7, while senior center fielder
Brian Uliana, freshman second baseman
Francisco Infante and Moore all had two hits apiece. Senior shortstop
Mark Powell drove in a pair of runs as well. On the mound, senior right-hander
Dominic Razzano tossed 4.2 innings of one-hit ball in relief.

In the opener, sophomore right-hander
Steven Burke allowed just one run and struck out nine, while walking only one, throughout 7.0 innings out of the bullpen. Senior third baseman
Joe Foran finished 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI, while junior first baseman
Nicolas Teitter went 2-for-3 with a run scored.
