Ryane Brush drove in three runs apiece as The College of Saint Rose salvaged a doubleheader split with a 10-1 (six innings) non-league victory at Southern Connecticut State this afternoon. The Golden Knights (13-19/7-9 NE10) fell 3-2 in the earlier
Northeast-10 Conference game.
Saint Rose recorded a six-run sixth to head home early. Maloney had the big hit of the frame, knocking in three teammates with a single. Brush doubled home a pair in the first before hitting a solo homer to left in the fifth. The rookie finished 2-for-3 with two runs scored.
SCSU (9-27/4-10 NE10) walked-off on the Golden Knights for the second time this weekend in the opener. Freshman infielder Jayden Delaporta did the honors with a two-run double.

Savanna Liverio plated the Saint Rose runs with a second-inning single.
Both teams have road NE10 doubleheaders scheduled for Tuesday. The Golden Knights travel to American International while the Owls head to Pace University.
