CLERMONT, Fla. – The College of Saint Rose softball team concluded its annual Florida trip by dropping a pair of games. Junior infielder
Briana Bowen went a combined 5-for-6 with an RBI and a run scored as the Golden Knights (2-8) fell to #1 Minnesota State-Mankato 12-2 (5 innings) and 5-3 to Mary.
Bowen went 3-for-3 in the opener, including a pair of doubles.
After the top-ranked Mavericks (14-2) opened up a 6-0 lead, the Golden Knights scored two runs in the second. Bowen led off with a double and came around to score on a single by senior catcher

Alina Germinerio.
Sophomore outfielder Carly Esselman went 3-for-4 with 5 RBI for Minnesota State.
Mary scored three runs in its final two at-bats to take the nightcap. Freshman infielder
Ryane Brush and Bowen had two hits and an RBI against the Marauders (9-4)
Next on the schedule for the Golden Knights is a non-conference doubleheader on Wednesday, March 21 at Saint Thomas Aquinas.
