GARDEN CITY, N.Y-The College of Saint Rose could not erase an early deficit in tonight's 87-48
Northeast-10 Conference loss at Adelphi. The Golden Knights (9-13/7-9 NE10) were outscored 16-6 in the first quarter, including 10-2 to open the game.

Karissa Birthwright led Saint Rose with 13 points. Sophomore forward
Leah Dollard added 12 points on 5-for-7 shooting.

The Panthers (12-13/8-9 NE10) put four players in double figures. Senior guard Simone Hobdy poured in 22 to top all participants. Freshman guard Katie Murphy added 19 points on 8-for-11 shooting, while junior guard Niajah Morgan contributed across the board with 19 points, eight assists, six rebounds and three steals.

Looking ahead, both teams have 1:30 pm home NE10 contests Saturday. The Golden Knights entertain New Haven for their annual Pink Zone Game, while Adelphi hosts Pace.
