ALBANY-The College of Saint Rose rallied from a 14 point deficit midway through the first half, but could not get over the final hump in today's 76-69 setback to visiting #25 and
Upstate Challenge rival Le Moyne. The Dolphins (21-5/18-1 NE10) outscored the Golden Knights 22-5 from the foul line en route to their 12
th straight victory.

"This was a high level college basketball game. We were just a couple of 50-50 balls from being there in the end, but there is a reason why Le Moyne is the top team in the East," said assistant coach
Mike Perno.

Asuncion-Byrd then knocked down a jumper that made 25-11 Dolphins with 10:17 to go. Boyd countered with a trey at the other end to ignite a Golden Knights (19-8/14-5) charge that got them to within three, 31-28, at intermission.
Â
Saint Rose then drew even on eight occasions throughout the second half. Lipinski put back an offensive rebound that pulled the Golden Knights to within three, 70-67, with 1:19 to go, but Le Moyne went 6-for-6 from the foul line down stretch to seal the victory.
