GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - The College of Saint Rose fell 60-49 tonight at Northeast-10 Conference rival Adelphi.
Senior forward
Karissa Birthwright led the Golden Knights (4-4/2-4 NE10) with 13 points on 4-of-5 shooting. She added nine rebounds, four assists, four blocks and two steals in defeat.
The Panthers (6-3/4-1 NE10), who extended their win streak to four games, had three players in twin figures. Senior guard Niajah Morgan led all players with 24 points, including 17 in the first half, on 8-of-14 shooting. Sophomore guard Emily Miccile recorded a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds, while junior guard Fallyn Stephens knocked down three shots from beyond the arc to add 13 points.

Ashley Vanderwall in the final 20 seconds made it a three-point game, 15-12, after the opening quarter. The Panthers responded with a 9-0 run across 3:19 of the second period to acquire some breathing room behind a 35-24 lead at the half.
They then tallied 11 of the first 15 points after the intermission to put themselves in the driver's seat.
