SPARKILL, N.Y.–The College of Saint Rose shot 51.0 percent (26-for-51) from the floor to keep itself in striking distance against nationally ranked and host St. Thomas Aquinas, but ultimately came up just short with tonight's 78-73 setback to the host Spartans. In the process, St. Thomas Aquinas (9-1) improved to 4-1 at home with its lone blemish a 94-93 setback to Bloomfield a week ago.
