ALBANY, N.Y.-Upstate Challenge rival Le Moyne shot 58.0 percent (29-for-50) from the floor and never trailed to upend The College of Saint Rose 77-60 in Northeast-10 Conference action tonight at the Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium.

Sekou Sylla recorded the second double-double of his young career with 16 points and 10 rebounds and senior forward
Matt Cerutti contributed 15 points to lead the Golden Knights (2-4/0-4 NE10).

Meanwhile, junior forward Kobi Nwandu tossed in 21 points, senior guard C.J. Asuncion-Byrd scored 17, and junior forward Tom Brown wound up with 15 points and 10 boards to propel the Dolphins (5-2/3-1 NE10).

Le Moyne outscored Saint Rose 8-0 throughout the final 3:31 of the first half to take a 19 point, 43-24, lead at intermission and then was never really threatened during the second stanza.

Going forward, both squads have conference home dates Saturday. The Golden Knights host New Haven at 3:30 pm, while the Dolphins take on Pace at 3:00 pm.
Notes: Sylla was named the NE10 Rookie of the Week on Monday…He has two double-doubles throughout the last three games...Le Moyne leads the 2018-19 edition of the Upstate Challenge 6.5-3.5.
