BROOKVILLE, N.Y.–The College of Saint Rose jumped out to a 16-2 lead and never looked back on the way to today's 90-62 non-league victory at LIU Post. The Golden Knights (2-3) shot 54.8 percent (34-for-62) from the floor and 50.0 percent (14-for-28) from the arc, while putting 11 players into the scoring column.

Sophomore forward Alonzo Ortiz-Traylor scored 26 points and freshman guard Kendell Ogilvie finished with 20 to lead the Pioneers (0-3), who only had nine players dressed.

Looking ahead, the Golden Knights return to Northeast-10 Conference action Wednesday to host Upstate Challenge rival Le Moyne. The second half of the league doubleheader is scheduled to tip-off at 7:30 pm. Meanwhile, LIU Post has a 3:00 pm meeting next Saturday at Nyack College.
