Sekou Sylla led the Golden Knights (1-2/0-2 NE10) with 12 and 10 points respectively. Also, senior forward
Matt Cerutti wound up with nine points and 10 rebounds despite picking up his fourth foul with 17:29 remaining.

Meanwhile, senior forward Andrew Anderson paced four Yellow Jackets (2-2/2-0 NE10) in twin figures with 16 points behind 7-for-11 shooting.

Saint Rose recorded 11 of the game's first 13 points in the opening six minutes, but American International scored 11 unanswered points to go up by a pair and then outscored the Golden Knights 12-6 throughout the final 4:27 to take a 28-22 halftime lead. The Yellow Jackets put themselves in control with a 17-3 run that transformed a 42-33 advantage into a 59-36 lead with 7:46 to go in the ballgame.

Looking ahead, both teams have Pace University next on their dockets. The Golden Knights will visit the Setters on Tuesday at 7:30 pm, while American International heads to Pleasantville, N.Y. on Wednesday, November 28
