PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y.-The College of Saint Rose scored twice in the opening 22 minutes to upend host Pace University 2-1 in Northeast-10 Conference action tonight. The Golden Knights (12-3-2/9-3-1 NE10) have now won three straight and are unbeaten in 11 of their last 12 matches.

Samantha Matthews each picked up an assist. Senior midfielder Noreen Carlin cut the Setters (5-11-1/3-10-0 NE10) deficit in half seven minutes prior to intermission, but that is where it wound up as junior keeper
Marika Laurendeau recorded six saves for Saint Rose.

Looking ahead, both squads will play their final regular-season matches Saturday. The Golden Knights host Southern New Hampshire for Faculty Appreciation Day. Kickoff is set for 2:00 pm. Meanwhile, Pace heads to Syracuse for an 11:00 am meeting at Le Moyne.
