MANCHESTER, N.H.-The College of Saint Rose had its seven match win streak snapped with today's 2-1 setback at Northeast-10 Conference rival Saint Anselm. Meanwhile, the Hawks (7-5-0/7-3-0 NE10) won their fifth straight and improved to 4-1 at home.

Saint Anselm got out to a 1-0 lead with 14:39 gone by when junior midfielder Kiley Larocque finished a pass from fellow junior midfielder Caly Farina.

Nina Predanic. However, sophomore back Bailey Conti struck midway through the second stanza with what proved to be the game-winner.

Marika Laurendeau recorded eight saves for the Golden Knights (9-3-2/7-3-1 NE10), including six throughout the opening 45 minutes.

Looking ahead, both squads have home matches Tuesday. Saint Rose hosts Adelphi at 6:00 pm, while Saint Anselm entertains Stonehill at 6:30 pm.
Note: Saint Rose is ranked #7 in the United Soccer Coaches East Region Poll after being listed #8 last week…Laurendeau was named the NE10 Goalie of the Week on Monday…Predanic continues to lead the NE10 in both points (29) and goals (11), and is tied for second in assists (7) with junior forward
Morgan Burchhardt…Laurendeau stands third among the league leaders in save percentage (.851) and is fourth in goals-against-average (0.90).
