Leah Dollard scored a career-high of 20 points as The College of Saint Rose defeated visiting Assumption 76-65 in a Saturday afternoon inÂ
Northeast-10 Conference action. Dollard, one of five Saint Rose players in double figures, went 9-of-11 from the field.

Junior guard
Ashley Vanderwall added 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting for the Golden Knights (9-9/7-5 NE10), which shot 57.1 percent (28-of-49) from the field.

Karen Haag. "I was pleased with our effort and grit, and I am excited about how we're coming together."

Sophomore guard
Takora McIntyre contributed across the box score in the team's third-straight win. The point guard registered 10 points, eight assists, six rebounds, and three steals.

Assumption (7-10/4-8 NE10) had four players in double figures. Junior forward Morgan O'Donnell and senior guard Morgan O'Brien led the way with 14 points apiece.

The Golden Knights used a 19-8 first-half run to head into the locker rooms up 31-22 at intermission.

After the Greyhounds cut the lead to six, 63-57, with 3:33 remaining, McIntyre followed a layup by junior forward
Karissa Birthwright with a three to get it back to double digits. Junior guard
Isa Vara de Rey totaled six of her 12 points at the line during the final 1:06 to seal it.

Both teams have 5:30 pm road NE10 games on Tuesday. The Golden Knights visit Saint Anselm in Manchester, N.H., while Assumption travels to Southern Connecticut State.
