North Easton, Mass.-The College of Saint Rose won its third straight with today's 1-0 triumph at
Northeast-10 Conference rival Stonehill. Freshman midfielder
Oskar Aastroem provided the difference when he chipped home a feed from freshman forward
Vince Matozzo with 10 minutes left until intermission.

The affair was evenly played as the Golden Knights (4-5-0/4-2-0 NE10) generated 15-13 shot and 3-2 corner kick advantages. Furthermore, they manufactured 10 of their shots throughout the second half.

Sophomore keeper
Gianni Carillo recorded five saves while lowering his goals-against-average to 1.12 on the season. Meanwhile, freshman Jeremy Zielinski registered seven stops for the Skyhawks (4-6-1/1-5-0 NE10) in his first collegiate start.

Looking ahead, both teams are off until next Saturday. Saint Rose will host conference rival Merrimack at 4:00 pm, while Stonehill will head to Syracuse to face Le Moyne at noon.
