PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - The College of Saint Rose women's volleyball team fell 3-0 (22-25, 19-25,17-25) at Pace in
Northeast-10 Conference action Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Knights (6-8/0-2 NE10) received six kills each from junior setter
Sam Kubik, junior middle hitter
Shayna Webber, and sophomore outside hitter
Stevie Schweitzer. Webber and Kubik, who distributed 20 assists, both hit .385.

Tina Ceriello, Schweitzer and freshman outside hitter
Graciela Cruz combined for 34 digs

The Setters (4-8/1-2 NE10) got 12 kills from junior outside hitter Claudia Fontanet.

Saint Rose had a 22-20 lead in the first set, but was unable to close it out. Fontanet had a kill and an ace down the stretch.

Midway through the second set, Pace went on a 4-0 run to take control. The Setters were able to snuff out the Golden Knights' late charge by netting five of the final seven points.

Pace closed it out in three on the strength of a 10-2 stretch halfway through.

Both programs go out of conference for their next matches. The Golden Knights will compete at the Nyack tri-match on Saturday, September 30th. Pace visits East Stroudsburg on Tuesday night.
