GOLDEN KNIGHTS UPEND BENTLEY IN DOUBLE OVERTIME

ALBANY-The College of Saint Rose won for the second time in its last three matches with today's 1-0, double-overtime triumph against visiting Northeast-10 Conference rival Bentley.

"It took all 26 pulling together. Bentley is a hardworking and determined group. I was happy with the grit and teamwork we showed. We challenged our guys to be better this week and I was pleased with the effort and response they put forth," said head coach John Ciano.

Junior forward Kyle Clemens provided the difference in the 104th minute when he collected a through pass on the left flank from senior forward Suleiman Haruna-iya and slipped his shot inside the far, right post.

Neither team created many scoring chances throughout a closely contested affair. The two sides managed to generate 14 shots collectively, including four on-target.

Looking ahead, Saint Rose returns home Tuesday to face conference rival Saint Michael's at 7:00 pm. Meanwhile, the Falcons have a home league date Tuesday versus Adelphi at 3:30 pm.
Notes: Haruna-iya is tied for 12th among the NE10 leaders with eight points on the year…Twelve different players have figured in the scoring column thus far.
