BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The College of Saint Rose women's volleyball team dropped a non-conference match at Bridgeport 3-0. The Golden Knights (6-7/0-1
Northeast-10 Conference) fell by scores of 15-25, 18-25, 14-25.

Sam Kubik# paced the Saint Rose offense with five kills and 15 assists. The Golden Knights co-captain added 10 digs in the back. Senior middle hitter #
Maddy Halverson and junior middle hitter Shayna Webber# also had five kills. Halverson registered a .500 hitting percentage.
The host Purple Knights (3-7) jumped out to a leads of 5-1 and 14-7 en route to taking the opening set. Bridgeport hit .300 as a team in the frame.
Midway through the second set, Bridgeport went on a 7-3 run to take control of what was an 11-8 contest and go up 2-0.
The Purple Knights scored 11 of 14 points to break open the third set.
Junior setter Ellie Rich totaled 32 assists for Bridgeport. Sophomore outside hitter Amanda Hennemann topped all players with 12 kills on .345 hitting for the Purple Knights.
Both teams return to conference play this weekend. Saint Rose visits Pace on Saturday at 1pm. Bridgeport travels to Roberts Wesleyan on Friday night.
