ALBANY, N.Y. -The College of Saint Rose women's volleyball team dropped a pair of home matches on Saturday afternoon. The Golden Knights (6-6, 0-1 NE10) fell 3-1 (17-25, 28-26, 23-25, 17-25) in
Northeast-10 Conference action to Adelphi and 3-0 to Daemen (24-26, 23-25, 17-25).
In the opener, the visiting Panthers (4-7/1-0 NE10) erased an 11-3 deficit to take the crucial third set.
After going down 1-0, Saint Rose battled back from a 22-19 deficit to emerge victorious in the second set. Junior middle hitter

Maddy Halverson and freshman outside hitter
Brenna Goebel each registered two kills down the stretch.
Webber topped the Golden Knights with 11 kills on a .320 hitting percentage, while Halverson hit .360 with 10 kills.
Adelphi received 12 kills each from outside hitters McKenna Clawson and Leilani Vazquez. Sophomore setter Katie Barry distributed 42 assists in the win.
After falling in a close first set to start the nightcap, the Golden Knights jumped out to an 11-2 lead in the second frame. However, the Wildcats (3-7) rallied to take control of the match with its 25-23 set victory.

Stevie Schweitzer led Saint Rose with 10 kills. Halverson added eight on a .389 hitting percentage.
The Wildcats got 17 kills from sophomore outside hitter Meghan Ballou.

Tina Ceriello totaled 38 digs on the afternoon, while junior setter
Sam Kubik handed out 64 assists.
Saint Rose competes next at Bridgeport on Tuesday night. Daemen visits Le Moyne on Tuesday night. Adelphi hosts Le Moyne on Friday at 3:30pm.
